Overview

These Autumn Adventure Run courses are an intermediate navigational challenge, often with a fun/unique challenge during the event.

This year, the races will be at two different locations:

• Oct. 18 -  Theodore Wirth Park

• Nov. 1 -  French Regional Park, 12605 Rockford Rd, Plymouth, MN 55441

The Adventure Runs start after sunset, so plan to bring a headlamp or flashlight.

 

Courses

• October 18 - long (4-5km) and short (3-4km) options

• November 1 - We will be using a unique mystery race format, appropriate for ALL ages and abilities. HINT: Since this event is the day after Halloween, it is possible that there will still be monsters lurking. Come prepared for a fun, exciting event!

 

Schedule

• 6:15-6:45 pm - registration/check-in

• 6:45 pm - November 1 pre-race meeting. Don't miss this meeting, as it will explain the race format

• 7:00pm - Race starts (mass start)

• 8:00pm - courses close

• Post-Race social at will be announced prior to the event start.

 

Pricing​

• Price per week: $8

Payment will be made at the event (cash or check). 

Location:

• Oct. 18 - Theodore Wirth Park: Start location is at Wirth Beach, 3200 Glenwood Ave. Minneapolis

• Nov. 1 - French Regional Park: 12605 Rockford Rd, Plymouth, MN 55441 Start location is at Moraine shelter. Watch for signs.

It takes a handful of volunteers to make each of our events successful.  If you would like to learn more about volunteering, please see our Volunteering page. MNOC would like to thank you for volunteering. We have a limited number of $5 REI gift cards for each meet to give thank you's to volunteers. If you would like one, please ask the race director.
