6:15-6:45 pm - Registration/check-in

6:45 pm - Pre-race meeting. Don't miss this meeting, as it will explain the race format.

7:00 pm - Race starts (mass start)

8:00 pm - Course closes

Post-Race social at will be announced prior to the event start.

Overview

The Fall Adventure Run Series courses are an intermediate navigational challenge, often with a fun/unique challenge during the event. The Adventure Runs start after sunset, so plan to bring a headlamp or flashlight. For this event, we have 2 maps, one Long and one Short, but the Long has an option of Middle on the map, by deciding at control 8 whether to continue or go directly to the Go control and then Finish.

Short: 3-4km

Purchasing tip

Purchase each ticket in a separate transaction, to provide important details for the registrar. If you are orienteering as one group (i.e., one map, one e-stick), then you can buy a single ticket (one transaction) and add names on the registration form.

Come Clean Leave Clean

The Minnesota Orienteering Club practices a Come Clean Leave Clean policy.  This helps us maintain a good relationship with the parks we utilize, sets a good example for other users, and limits the transfer and spread of many of the plants that make our venues less enjoyable.
