The ski conditions were brutal, but the ski-orienteers did amazing!! After 2 days of wild winds, extremely warm weather, and extremely cold weather, the ski trails were hard, icy, and covered with tree debris. But they were skiable. And, the Upper Spirit Nordic Trails are ideal for Ski-Orienteering because the woods are fairly open, and off-trail skiing is possible. Some of the ski-orienteers even reported that the off-trail navigation was actually easier skiing. 

 

There were three courses of varying length and difficulty with results are shown below, and you can view detailed split information at Attackpoint. Courses and individual routes are available to view at Livelox - please upload your own route as well!
