OVERVIEW
Mountain Bike Orienteering (MTBO) is an orienteering event on a mountain or cross bike where navigation is done along/near trails. The controls will need to be visited in order & riders must decide the most efficient route as they make their way through the course. Helmets are required at all MNOC bike events.
COURSES
MTBO Long and Short courses, of approximately 20km and 10km (straight line distance).
SCHEDULE

Registration/Check-In: 11:30 am - 1:20 pm

Race Start: 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm (You can start a course anytime during this start window; participants are stagger-started every 1 minute)

COME CLEAN LEAVE CLEAN
The Minnesota Orienteering Club practices a Come Clean Leave Clean policy. This helps us maintain a good relationship with the parks we utilize, sets a good example for other users, and limits the transfer and spread of many of the plants that make our venues less enjoyable.
