A great crowd of competitors came out to challenge themselves in the deep snow. Traveling through the open prairie areas was quite challenging, while it was typically easier to move through the green where the snow was not as deep. A mix of point values (5, 10, or 15 points per control) made an interesting challenge to plan the optimal route.
