Overview

Sam Meddaugh was long-time treasurer and membership chair of MNOC, and the annual Members Meet has been named in his honor. The Sam Meddaugh Members Meet is always a fun event, and a great opportunity for family and friends to spend the day together and participate in a fun, casual day of orienteering. It's also a great time to get to know other MNOC members that you see in passing at the many meets throughout the year.

All members of MNOC and other orienteering clubs and their families and guests are welcome.

Location

Cleary Lake Regional Park is one of the most popular year-round recreation spots in the south metro. With amenities including a golf course, campground, picnic area, cross-country ski trails, swimming beach and more, this beautiful park has something for everyone.

From the Twin Cities, take I-35 south to the 185th St. exit. Go right (west) on 185th St. After 4 miles, turn left (south) on Texas Ave. The park entrance is 1/2 mile further on the right. Start locations vary, so watch for the O-Meet signs!

Come Clean Leave Clean

The Minnesota Orienteering Club practices a Come Clean Leave Clean policy.  This helps us maintain a good relationship with the parks we utilize, sets a good example, and limits the transfer and spread of many of the plants that make our venues less enjoyable.
