Mille Lacs Kathio State Park Orienteering Meet
Date: Saturday, October 20, 2018
Location: Mille Lacs Kathio State Park
Courses: Regular Courses (Beginner to Advanced)
Start: 12:00pm (noon) to 1:30pm
Mille Lacs Kathio State Park is in the Mille Lacs Landscape Region. The park is primarily a second-growth forest of aspen, birch, maple, oak, and other northern hardwoods. Wetlands are abundant in the eskers on which the park is located. A few isolated remnant stands of conifers provide diversity to the landscape and a hint of what the forest looked like a century ago.
We will be using the fabulous orienteering kettle moraine terrain of the eastern half of the Mille Lacs Kathio State Park for this meet.

Come Clean Leave Clean
The Minnesota Orienteering Club practices a Come Clean Leave Clean policy. This helps us maintain a good relationship with the parks we utilize, sets a good example for other users, and limits the transfer and spread of many of the plants that make our venues less enjoyable.
Race results are usually published within 24 hours of the event. View our Race Results page to see the results.
