What a difference from the 80 degree weather last weekend! Constant rain and temperatures topping out in the low- to mid-40s welcomed our racers today. The race began with a mass start in canoes before proceeding to bikes, with a trek at the end.

Sportsmanship award for the day goes to Team Delayed Entry. Solo racer Amber had broken her kayak paddle and was managing with half of a paddle. When Amber crossed paths with Delayed Entry in their canoe, Justin offered to trade his kayak paddle, and finished the paddle section with Amber's broken paddle.

 

Maximum points included 7 paddle CPs (any order), 15 sequential CPs (including TAs and bike controls), and 16 trek CPs (any order). Full race results are shown below.
