Race Finish 2006 Welcome! MNOC is proud to announce the 8th Annual Adventure-O. We're working on a brand new and exciting location for this year's event. We'll also be easing up on the navigational intensity compared to previous years, and adding in a few surprises along the way. Come experience the challenging and high quality events that MNOC is known for.

The race is open to coed teams of 2 and 4 persons and open teams of 2. The Adventure-O is part of the Minnesota Adventure Race Series. Teams that enter will automatically obtain points for the MARS overall series.

Where:Within 2.5 hours of the Twin Cities.
When:Saturday, July 11th 2009.
What:
  • Trekking/Running (6-7 miles)
  • Paddling (6 miles)
  • Biking - road and technical (25 miles)
  • Navigation and Orienteering
Who:Co-ed teams of 2 or 4 people, 2 person open teams. Limit of 100 participants.

Refund Policy

There is a $30.00 non-refundable deposit when registering for a MNOC Adventure-O event. Teams register by paying the entire team registration fee in full. Teams are not considered registered until full payment is received. Teams may change categories between 2-person and 4-person, as long as there is available space in the event. Teams that have teammates who fall ill or cannot participate due to unforeseen events are expected to find replacement teammates. All teams are subject to the following refund schedule; there are no exceptions. Team name and teammates may be changed up to race-day registration. Contact the registrar to make any changes.

  • Full refund less non-refundable deposit within 30 days of date of registration, up to 30 days before the race.
  • 50% refund less non-refundable deposit, up to 30 days before the race.
  • No refunds within 30 days of the race date.
